Delicias, Mexico—Sister City

What a wonderful experience this has been. The hospitality and warmth of our Mexican friends has been overwhelming. Our relationship started in 1991. Since that time The Casper Rotary Club has made nine trips to Delicias. We have delivered fire trucks, ambulances, school desks and supplies, school buses, and hospital equipment and supplies, including incubators for newborns.

The Club Rotario Delicias and the people of Delicias have been a joy to meet and to know. The arrival fiesta with the enthusiasm and happiness of our hosts will not be forgotten. The barbeques, the dances and the trips to Copper Canyon occupy a special place in our hearts.

Muchas gracias a nuestros amigos de Delicias para su hospitalidad y amabilidad durante nuestra vista reciente. Tu generosidad y acciones de amabilidad son tantos para contar, pero los arreglos para ir a los lugares como Naica, Nuevo Cosas Grandes, el Rancho de Chavez, el Museo de Palentologia, las cenas maravillosas con la musica, los bailes, y los cantantes fueron experiencias que vamos a recordar para siempre.

Tambien, nosotros disfuitamos y apreciamos las visitas con el Presidente y ayuntamiento de Delicias, el Presidente de Chichuahua, los bomberos y los miembros de Cruz Rojo de Delicias.

Lo que toco nuestros corazones el mejor fueron los amistades personales, gererosidad y hospitalidad de las familias con cuales quedamos.
