Chairman: Peaches Lynch The Casper Rotary Club has hosted scores of high school students from around the world; in the last three years we have had students from Norway, Japan, Turkey, Belgium and the Philippines. This year the club is hosting a student from France and Spain. We believe such exchanges promote cultural understanding and have a tendency to bring people together even when they live worlds apart. |

Rotary Park |
|
Chairman: Dean Cline, Steve Domonkos and Daron Gruner Perhaps Casper's most picturesque park is Rotary Park on Casper Mountain. With its waterfall, diverse vegetation and cool flowing water on hot summer days, it has long been a favorite of residents and visitors alike. Future upgrades include a new picnic shelter and a path to make the park more accessible to those with disabilities. Natrona County has been a great landlord and maintains and operates the park on a day to day basis. |

Chairman: none As a further commitment to bettering the community, as well as giving a hand-up to a Casper family, the Casper Rotary Club finished in 1999, a Habitat For Humanity House. Instead of building from the ground up, Casper Rotary agreed to renovate an older house that had been moved to a new foundation; the integrity of the structure was in doubt after the move. Casper Rotary reinforced the roof, replaced all windows, tore out all interior walls except the main bearing wall, poured the basement floor, reinforced the floor joists, placed new plumbing, completely rewired, placed new bathroom fixtures, completely redid the interior walls and ceiling, and provided front and back ingress and egress, including ramp access off the driveway. |
